Kerem Bolukbasi

Kerem is a seasoned finance and operations leader with diverse industry background, extensive technical acumen, and two decades of progressive global management experience in both operations and private equity investments.

Kerem held critical roles such as CFO of the $2 billion GE Gas Engines business unit and Enterprise Risk Leader at GE Capital during a post-financial crisis era. His responsibilities encompassed establishing risk parameters and executing stress-testing to ensure compliance with Federal Reserve risk management standards.

In his capacity as Interim or Permanent CFO within PE portfolio companies, Kerem adeptly bridges the gap between strategy and execution to ensure alignment between management and the shareholders. His initiatives include recapitalizing businesses, securing growth capital, developing a strategic plan, restructuring and rebuilding the teams, upgrading operational and financial systems, and enhancing talent to drive exceptional results.

Renowned as a carve-out and turnaround specialist, Kerem has held pivotal operating positions at PE-backed middle market companies such as Rather Outdoors, Exactech, Vice Media, McAfee, Transplace, Adare Pharma, and FleetPride. His focus on value creation, organizational and talent build, M&A execution, and delivering outstanding financial and operational outcomes is consistently evident.

Notably, he has executed multiple complex carve-outs, such as the McAfee carve-out from Intel, and delivered $350 million of operational and financial efficiencies throughout his career.

Kerem holds an MBA from University of North Carolina and served as part of the US / NATO Special Forces within the intelligence and search and rescue units. Kerem lives in Charleston, SC with his family.
